We see the acronym ‘URL’ everywhere in the digital world. It appears anywhere you enter an online address or visit a website. But what is URL full form? What does it actually mean and what do URLs represent?

URL stands for Uniform Resource Locator, and it is basically a web address that allows us to access different pages on the Internet. To simplify, it is a way for the Internet to locate and keep track of different webpages with unique address points.

Every webpage has its own unique URL, which can be found in the search bar of the browser while you are visiting any page. URLs are made up of several different parts which can also be broken down into individual codes and protocols that make up the address of the page.
