What is PSLV?
The Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) is India’s third-generation launch vehicle and its first liquid-stage satellite launch vehicle. It is designed to launch satellites into Sun-synchronous orbits, which are orbits that pass over the same point on Earth’s surface at the same local time each day. PSLV can also launch smaller satellites into Geostationary Transfer Orbit (GTO).
