What is the full form of BAMS?
BAMS full form is Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery. BAMS is a comprehensive five-and-a-half-year degree program that encompasses the study of both the integrated traditional Ayurvedic system and modern medicine. The course comprises 4.5 years of academic sessions followed by a one-year compulsory internship.
Eligibility Criteria: The primary eligibility requirement for the BAMS course is that candidates must have passed their 12th class with Biology from a recognized board, with a minimum of 45-50 percent. Admission to BAMS is centrally controlled and based on the scores obtained in the NEET examination. Candidates should have Biology, Physics, and Chemistry as mandatory subjects in their 12th class.
