National Defence Academy (NDA)
The NDA is the Indian Armed Forces joint defence services training academy. All three Indian forces, the Navy, the Army, and the Air Force, are trained together. After completing this basic training, they go to their separate military academies for pre-commissioning.
The NDA is located in Khadakwasla, near Pune, Maharashtra. It is the world’s first tri-service academy and has produced 27 service chiefs, including 3 Param Vir Chakra recipients and 12 Ashok Chakra recipients.
National Democratic Alliance (NDA)
The NDA is an alliance of political parties in India, headed by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). It was formed in 1998 and came to power for the first time between 1998 and 2004. Atal Bihari Vajpayee was the first prime minister of the NDA.
