Thirsty crow moral story
Once upon a time, on a scorching summer day, a crow flew over the parched fields, looking for water. His throat was dry, and he felt as if he might faint at any moment. He had been searching for hours, but there seemed to be no sign of relief.
Just as he was about to give up hope, he spotted a jug lying under a tree. With a glimmer of excitement, he swooped down, hoping to find some water inside. As luck would have it, there was indeed water in the jug, but it was at a very low level, far below the reach of the crow’s thirsty beak.
He tried to push his head into the jug, but the neck of the jug was too narrow. Then he tried to tilt the jug hoping the water would pour out, but it was too heavy for him to move. He felt defeated and considered giving up for a moment, but then he had a clever idea.
Looking around, he saw pebbles scattered on the ground. An idea sparked in his intelligent brain. He picked up a pebble and dropped it into the jug. Then he took another pebble and dropped it into the jug. Each pebble made the water rise a little higher. The crow kept adding pebbles, and with each one, his hope rose.
After some time, with persistent effort, the water level came up to the brim. The crow could now quench his thirst. He put his beak into the water and took long, satisfying gulps. It was the sweetest water he had ever tasted.
Having quenched his thirst, the crow felt revitalized. He took to the sky, his energy restored, ready to face the day.
Thirsty crow story moral
The moral of the story is that necessity is the mother of invention. In the face of adversity, persistence and creativity can lead to solutions. The crow didn’t give up when the situation seemed impossible; instead, he thought outside the box and overcame the obstacle. This teaches us to stay determined and use our wit to tackle problems that may seem insurmountable at first.
