Moral story: The Grasshopper and the Ant

Once upon a time, there was a grasshopper who spent his days singing and playing the fiddle. One hot summer day, he met an ant who was carrying a heavy grain of corn to her nest.

“Why are you working so hard?” the grasshopper asked. “It’s such a beautiful day! Let’s take a break and have some fun.”

“I’m storing food for the winter,” the ant replied. “You should do the same.”

But the grasshopper just laughed. “Winter is still far away,” he said. “I’ll have plenty of time to gather food then.”

So the grasshopper continued to play and sing, while the ant worked hard to store food for the winter.

When winter finally came, the grasshopper was hungry and cold. He had no food to eat and no shelter from the snow. He went to the ant’s nest and begged for help.

“Please give me some food,” he said. “I’m so hungry and cold.”

Winter comes and he has no food to eat

The ant looked at the grasshopper and said, “I told you to store food for the winter, but you didn’t listen. Now you must pay the consequences.”

The grasshopper learned a valuable lesson that day. It’s important to be prepared for the future and to work hard while you have the chance.

Moral of the story

It is important to use your time wisely and plan for the future. If you are lazy and do not prepare for the future, you may suffer the consequences.
